Mama's Birthday Update

Ok everybody. I have some news...neither good or bad I don't think. I have been sceduled to work a choreography camp June 4-6. I would have said "heck no," but the money is waaaayyyyy too good to turn down, and let's face it, we are going on a cruise in July that won't pay for itself.

So, I would like to propose we have Mama's birthday party on June 21. I really want to see everybody, and I would love to celebrate Mama's birthday as a family. Plus, this will allow her to celebrate the whole month of June, and we all know how excited I get about birthday months. Anyway, let me know what you think!

So.. I haven't been able to sleep at night. I woke up Chris this morning for work at 3 a.m. Ya.. I need help. But the good news, I discovered the neatest website on earth... photofunia.com. I was very delirious when I created this, so I hope you all can get a good laugh!! :)

Also...I got my work schedule and I do have to work Saturday morning, but we will be headed to Cabot just as soon as I get off!! What are the Riverfest plans?? Michael likes Jason Aldean, and I'm pretty sure Rosie does, too. He plays Saturday night. Whether we go or not, I can't wait to see you all again!!

Mama's Birthday!

A Wonderful Weekend!

Thought I would share some of the pics! So happy that almost everyone was able to get together and have a good time! I love our family!

American Idol and Bobby!

Bobby is seriously considering trying out for American Idol. Kris has given him some hope, and he is ready. We just figure....what the crap is it going to hurt!?!?

Apparently some have made deals with him that they would do all the "logistics" if he decided to try out. Which means we neeed to be figuring out where he needs to go to tryout, how he needs to look, and what he needs to sing. Keep in mind we are all his publiscists for the time being, so we have to be good at it! Jordan - you are our key person here!! :o) You know Amerian Idol!!!

Also, I don't know anything about auditions (Jordan), but maybe we should strategically plan where he auditions (not just the closest to us). Unless of course that doesn't matter......start blogging people! Auditions are this summer!

p.s. Bobby shaved his face! Completely! I think he looks wonderful. I will try to get a picture up.

So my whole life I have heard "Kera, quit 'fake-smiling". I think I have even said it to Chris a million times. It's like we have to ask someone to tell us a funny joke before taking a pictures or you get a posed smile. So that is why these are my two favorite pictures in the world... This is the night that Chris proposed!!! I could look at these pictures a million times over... & everytime I'm gonna think...Now those are some real smiles. So after having the happiest weekend I have ever had in my entire life [This is including my wonderful 21st on Dixon]... I am seriously feeling like I'm on cloud 9. So, besides some serious planning... A teeny-bit of change has gone on in my life. I get to have the summer off work. I don't think anyone could understand how exciting that is. I have worked since I was 16 & never have gotten on the weekends. But my dad is going to support me, while I hit some major summer school, and I get every single weekend off!!! That's a big deal people!!! :) So I'm ready for some pool time & grilling out, etc. I miss you all already & thank God for each of you!!! I'm praying for you Jordan...I can't wait to be an Aunt & babysit all the time.. even if it means making a 3 hour? trip to do so! :) Love you all...

I've been checking this thing everyday to see what's going on with everyone, and alas...day after day I find nothing :-(
Surely your lives have to be a little more exciting than mine, but just in case, I'll fill you in on my big news of the week:
1. KRIS ALLEN MADE IT TO THE FINALE OF AMERICAN IDOL!!! (P.S. If you love me at all, you will watch on Tuesday and vote at least once, if not a hundred or so times)
2. I got to work 2 Day Shifts at work this week, which I don't usually get to do, and prefer, so that's made my week easy and nice.
3. My big Dr. appointment is in 12 days, so I am looking forward to that and the months ahead...be praying or meditating on it, or whatever it is that you do.
4. And, for my bad news, Michael left a pen in his pants in the washing machine and has subsequently ruined my long white skirt and white tank top :-( I can't freaking keep anything living in a house with him...I just don't see how you siblings/parents did it for so long! If he weren't so cute, our relationship might be in serious jeapordy...just kidding, he's a pretty good roomie, most of the time.

Now please someone fill me in on what's going on in ya'll's parts of the world, because I'm dying of boredom down here LA...

This Weekend

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend! Trista and I had a great time and it was nice to see everyone all together.

Trista's senior night for baseball is this Friday (May 15). She will be dancing on the dugouts during the game as usual, but will then do a longer dance in costume on the field at the end of the game! We will film it and get a video posted for you if you can't make it back up here...

The After

Scary and Lucky - All Before 6am!

Our neighbor's house burned down last night. Luckily, no one was home. We were awakened by police beating on our door telling us to get out and run. Shortly thereafter the street was flooded with fire and rescue trucks. No one was injured, but the house is completely burned.

Our house was soaked down in order to keep it from catching. As you can see from the pictures and video, the fire came very close, and buring boards were landing on our roof and yard.

Boston was safely evacuated and taken down the street. He is fine.





My beautiful yard now has firetruck tracks.

Woo Hoo!!

YAY!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED THAT I PASSED MY NURSING CLASS (for this semester)!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
(and yes, it was an issue at one time) lol. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cannot wait to see all you crazy nuts this weekend!!! or is it mixed nuts? haha. o well. See ya soon.........

Grounded for a Month

After climbing up on the bench to try to catch the hummingbirds, Boston decided he wanted to see his yard from a new perspective...

He's grounded.

NOTICE:
Jordan and Michael will be coming to Cabot tonight hopefully, but for sure tomorrow, so anyone in town be sure to schedule some time for us.

Now...that might not be as cool as Bobby's widgety thing but it works!
