We tried a new pediatrician today in Searcy, and I really liked her. She was a little old school on some things, and considering my generation is still kickin' I kind of enjoyed it. Caden weighs almost 14 lbs & is 23 " long!!! (AT 7 WEEKS?!) This will be the 3rd time I've switched formula attempting to get him 'satisfied' and rice bottles didn't do the trick. After listening to my baby cry all day & night because he thinks he is starving every hour, I was excited to hear what my doctor suggested. Caden has began to stick his tongue out, like all of the time, and somehow that connects to eating food. I started food this young and so did both of my brothers, but the biggest difference is that he has doubled both of our weights at this age! I don't know why I feel like I have to justify/defend doing this, I just wanted to be able to share how big my baby is getting without feeling guilty & also share how funny his first encounter with bananas was!! He did it like a pro.. no spitting out, opened his mouth for each bite, and took it down like he had been doing it his whole life, haha! We only tried 1/4 of the little can & after only 3 more oz of formula, he went straight to sleep. That is miraculous!! He has been averaging 6-8 oz before he cries himself to sleep. Hear are some pictures to share...

See that mouth opening for each bite?? haha!

"Mom, quit taking pictures, and give me some more 'nanas!" :D
